The Southern Tour Ultra is held over three days — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Friday the 100 mile starts at 12:00pm
Saturday the 50 mile starts at 6:30am
Saturday the 50K Starts at 7:30am
Saturday the Relay Starts at 8:30am
Friday at 12:00 PM. We recommend arriving by 11:00 AM for check-in and the 11:30 AM pre-race meeting.
All races must be finished by 8:00pm on Saturday evening.
The 100 mile, 50 mile and 50K are 10 miles loops that are repeated with two aid stations each loop. One located at mile 5 and one located at mile 10 (checkpoint)
For the 100 miler After 11:59 PM Friday. One pacer at a time, no bikes allowed. Muling is permitted. For the 50 mile and 50K pacers are permitted after 5:00pm Saturday. One pacer at a time, no bikes allowed.

Mile 5 Aid Station: Water, electrolytes, gels, Ramen, and fruit

Main Aid (Start/Finish): Hot food (quesadillas, soup), salty snacks, and your personal crew area

Finishers receive a 100-mile belt buckle, 50 mile belt buckle or 50K medal

If you stop at 50 miles, you’ll still be recognized as a 50-mile finisher
Between 2 and 10 members. One individual can buy an entire relay team and everyone else registers for $0.00 or you can create a relay team and team members can join the team and pay individual fees.

- The Fastest Net Team with Handicaps is the overall winner
- The first team across the line will be recognized
- The top team with 5 or less runners will be recognized and awarded
You can’t win team prizes but your individual 5-mile splits still count for awards.
Yes, whether your relay team is competitive or not, we still compile all 5 mile results like a regular overall race.

Absolutely! Camping is part of the Southern Tour experience. Camping passes can be purchased during your registration. If you forgot to add camping, you can go back into your Run Sign Up account and go to MANAGE REGISTRATION and select ADD ONS.

Yes — with a $100 RV pass (must be purchased in advance). You cannot enter the venue with an RV without a reservation. RVs must all be on-site by 7pm Friday

Overflow parking is located outside the venue at Poplar Grove Plantation. You can park there and we will have shuttles that can take you in. You can also drop off folks inside the venue and then the driver can go park at Poplar Grove and take the shuttle in.
